Together, they supported the training and development of Yazidi Internally Displaced Person (IDP) choirs in Duhok Refugee Camp, in which over 190,000 refugees sought shelter for nine years ago escaping violence and genocide.

During the war against terrorism, the Yazidi community has faced immense challenges and hardships in recent years, with many members displaced from their homes due to conflict and persecution. Music and culture play a crucial role in preserving their heritage and providing hope for a brighter future.
The collaboration between Sardar Group and the AMAR Foundation, under the esteemed leadership of Baroness Emma Nicholson, seeks to empower Yazidi IDP choirs in Duhok Refugee Camp by providing essential resources and training opportunities. This initiative aims to foster cultural resilience and healing among the Yazidi community through the universal language of music.
