Behawta Commences Delivery of First Batch of Suzuki Motorcycles to Traffic Directorates in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq

Behawta General Trading and Trading Agencies Ltd. has further strengthened its role in supporting public sector institutions through the handover of the first batch under the Ministry of Interior of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq’s contract for the procurement of 206 Suzuki motorcycles. The official ceremony took place on April 6, 2026, at the General Directorate of Traffic in Erbil.

This initial phase included the delivery of 50 motorcycles, reflecting a practical step toward meeting the operational demands of field traffic work. It also underscores the company’s commitment to providing ready-to-deploy solutions that enhance responsiveness and improve on-site performance efficiency.

The batch features the Suzuki V-Strom 800 in white, fully equipped in-house to meet the specific requirements of traffic police operations. Each motorcycle has been fitted with sirens, communication systems, traffic signaling equipment, and side panniers, ensuring immediate readiness for deployment upon delivery.

This milestone highlights Behawta’s evolving role beyond traditional supply, positioning the company as an operational partner that supports government entities in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq while keeping pace with their growing needs.
