Erbil – Iraq. On 13th of October 2021

On Wednesday 13th of October, Sardar Group hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness Session in cooperation with Dr. Bnar S. Bradosti from Media Diagnostic Center at the SAS Service Center on Mosul Rd. The aim was to stress the seriousness of Breast Cancer especially in Iraq as it is the leading cause of Female Deaths in Iraq and has increased by more than double since 2013 and until 2019 and is expected to grow even more within the next decade.

Both Male and Female employees of Sardar Group attended the session physically in Erbil while employees from other cities participated through the live stream. Various topics were discussed during the session such as the symptoms, prevention methods, and the importance of early detection in curing breast cancer. Dr. Bnar S. Bradosti explained and performed how to do a self-examination in detail to ensure the safety of our employees and their family.

The session was well received as it provided a platform for both our males and female employees to have personal questions answered and it gave them the tools to pass on the same information to their friends, families, and spouses.

Our employee’s health and safety is our biggest priority and we hope to have many more sessions such as this to cover various topics in the future.
