Twelve students From the Institute of Technology Baghdad – Middle Technical University, successfully completed their summer training this day.

The summer training, which was sponsored by Sardar Trading Agencies, the official distributor of Jaguar Land Rover for Iraq – and held in the company’s authorized service center at Awaireej, where the Institute’s students were trained by specialized experts in the field.

The training, which came over two months, consisted of introducing the trainees to the latest skills and innovations in the field of automotive maintenance techniques and services, including:

– Service Advisor
– Workshop Control
– After Sales Administration
– Team leader / Technician/ Workshop Responsibilities
– Parts Advisor / Parts Dept.
– Body shop Functions
– Management Functions

This step comes within the framework of STA’s strive to achieve sustainable development through nurturing of local talents to contribute effectively in shaping a better future for the Iraqi society and provide employment opportunities for fresh distinguished graduates in this field. This would enable the economy wheels move forward and makes the private sector contribute effectively in achieving an integrated society.

On his part, Mr. Sardar Al-Bebany, the CEO of Sardar Group stated that this initiative represents an opportunity for our company to be in the forefront in providing the necessary training to the students to develop their skills and push them towards productivity and professionalism in the labor market for the purpose of success in their future. On the other hand, the professors present expressed optimism about a more prosperous future if such initiatives continue to support and develop students who have acquired what qualifies them academically and practically to enter the field of work with sufficient efficiency.
