Second Secretary at the Embassy of Japan in Iraq visits Sakura Park

Erbil June 27th, 2022

Ms. Junko Nakaji, Second Secretary, General, Press, and Cultural Affairs at the Embassy of Japan in Iraq accompanied by a delegation from the Japanese Consulate in Erbil, made a special visit to Sakura Park, where she was received by Mr. Sardar Al Bebany, the Chairman of Sardar Group and President of Toyota Iraq.

Mr. Sardar Al-Bebany welcomed the distinguished guest, commenting on the significance of this visit, and expressed his pride to the partnership and distinguished relations with Japan.

Mr. Sardar explained Sardar Group’s interest in the climate and commitment to environmental thinking and dedication to efforts to achieve a healthy environment and reduce pollution. Sardar Group developed its facilities to fit the international standards in line with the sustainable development goals to provide the children of Iraq with a better future.

Then Mr. Sardar took Ms. Nakaji for a tour in Sakura Park which extends over an area of more than 12,000 square meters and includes a group of various trees, flowers, and water features that provide a balanced environment, in which more than 200 Sakura trees were planted in the park, so that everyone can enjoy It.
