Erbil – Iraq. On Sep 23nd & 24rd, 2019, Mr. Yoshihisa Hayashi (Komatsu, Managing Director for Komatsu Middle East FZE) and delegation visited Sardar Group and Iraq for the first time. During their visit, many fruitful meetings took place with the presence of Mr. Sardar Al-Bebany (CEO & Chairman of Sardar Group), Mr. Shamal Al-Bebany (Board Member ), Mr. Ryo Onodera & Mr. Oki Kawahara (Manager of Sumitomo Dubai & Erbil Branch) and the Sardar Machinery team.

Mr. Sardar Al-Bebany discussed many topics and reaffirmed the commitment and importance of Komatsu Construction Equipment’s role in the rehabilitation needs of many Iraqi cities. Also discussed was the current situation of the Iraqi market and the future potential and role of Kamatsu products in Iraq in building a new future, providing aftersales services for current and future Komatsu users and to protect the Komatsu brand name in the market.

The Komatsu delegation was highly appreciative for Sardar Group’s hospitality and wish to establish long-term relationship with Sardar Group and primarily Komatsu Construction Equipment.

After the meetings, Komatsu Managing Director, Mr. Yoshihisa Hayashi took the opportunity to visit Toyota Iraq Company, Sakura Park and potential customers accompanied by the Sardar Machinery Team.
